On Assignment

This past Saturday saw Michigan State claim a second consecutive victory over the Michigan Wolverines, an achievement last seen during the Johnson Administration. Little Brother tripped up Blue. Gotta love the in-state rivalries.

I shot the game this time not for the AP, but a sports magazine. So, since my shots won’t be published for quite a while, I thought i’d share some of my favs. They’re a lot less of on-field action and more of the atmosphere surrounding this wet, wild game. Enjoy!

This was my final project in the first video-making class I just finished taking. Its been very educational and I’m definitely looking forward to doing more with videos and trying my hand at some extended projects.

This is my first attempt at a still-to-video documentary-style video from event coverage. Was working the annual auto show in Detroit again this year and since I had great help from Daily photographer and UM student Max Collins, you get to see what we did all day.

Thats right folks, I’m finally done with the documentary!

Well, actually thats not entirely true—as I still have to finish building the online multimedia portion of this project—but it is true that all the photos have finally been edited and are now available online at:
